During the month of November 2011 the Trench Americas Sales  (TAMS) team in conjunction with the marketing teams from Trench Canada hosted more than 60 people for a series of Product Training Seminars in Toronto.

Attendees included Agents, Regional Company (RC) representatives as well as colleagues from other Trench Sales Teams. Countries represented at the seminar not only included Canada and the USA but also Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Argentina.

Over the 3 day event the Trench Canada Marketing Teams based in Toronto presented detailed technical lectures covering the application, design and the manufacture of Reactors (Coil Products), Line Traps, Instrument Transformers and Capacitive Voltage Transformer products.

Also included as part of the training were factory tours of the Reactor and Instrument Transformer / CVT manufacturing facilities.

The General Sales Manager of Trench Americas Mr. Andrew Elliott stated:

“We were delighted by the response we received from those wishing to attend. The course was over subscribed by 20 % from our initial estimates. We believe this event met all of its objectives by giving our extended sales teams an increased level of knowledge and skills.
