Trench Brazil was established in Contagem, Minas Gerais State, Brazil in 1999. Manufacturing of the first reactors and line traps began in July of 2000 until present. Trench Brasil was established by the Trench Group to better serve our customer needs in the region and to be better positioned to participate in the global market.
The technology and manufacturing techniques used by the company in Brazil are all from Trench Limited Canada who transferred its reactor and line trap technology to Trench Brasil during the plant construction phase. Today brazilian company manufactures Air Core Reactors from 600 V to 345 kV, 50 KVA to 60 MVA and Line Traps from 72 kV to 800 kV 0,1 to 2 mH.
